4-H Camp Chaperones Make Camp Possible!
Interested in Becoming a Chaperone at Camp?
Without our volunteer adult chaperones camp would not be able to run. Join us for a memorable week of games, songs and campfire skits.
Help our counselors give youth memories that will last a lifetime!
As a chaperone....
- You will be expected to be at camp the whole session long, sleeping and eating at camp. If you cannot make that work for your schedule we might be able to work with you.
- Assist the camp director and counselors oversee the campers and maintain safety at camp
- No previous camp experience necessary
- Your lodging at camp and food will be free.
Next Steps to Become a Chaperone
- Are you an adult over the age of 21? Then you are eligible to apply to be a chaperone!
- Your first step is to contact your local University of Idaho Extension Office and start the process of becoming a 4-H certified volunteer.
- This process can take a little time and includes a background check, reference checks and completing an orientation course. Starting the process as soon as you can is recommended.
- To become certified (or if you already are) please complete and submit our Chaperone Application or request an application via email to idaho4hadventurecamp@uidaho.edu
