Registration for the 4-H Adventure Camp at Lake Cascade for Summer 2026 is now open!

Without our volunteer adult chaperones, 4-H Adventure Camp would not be able to run. Join us for a memorable week of games, songs, and campfire skits. Explore chaperone opportunities and help our counselors give youth memories that will last a lifetime!

You will be expected to be at the 4-H Adventure Camp for the entire session, where you will sleep and eat at camp. If you cannot make this work with your schedule, we might be able to explore some chaperone opportunities with you. You will assist the camp director and counselors in overseeing the campers and ensuring safety at camp. No previous camp experience is necessary, and your lodging and food will be provided for free while you volunteer at camp.

Are you an adult over the age of 21? If so, you are eligible to apply for chaperone opportunities at the 4-H Adventure Camp! Your first step is to reach out to your local University of Idaho Extension Office to begin the process of becoming a 4-H certified volunteer. This process may take some time and includes a background check, reference checks, and completing an orientation course. It’s recommended to start this process as soon as possible. To become certified, or if you are already certified, please complete and submit our Chaperone Application or request an application via email at idaho4hadventurecamp@uidaho.edu to volunteer at camp.
